Meizu MX4 Pro Officially Announced, Features 5.5-inch Display, Exynos 5433 Chipset And Secure Fingerprint Scanner
Today in China, Meizu announced the arrival of its new flagship smartphone, the Meizu MX4 Pro. It is the successor model Meizu MX4 that was released last September this year. Meizu MX4 Pro specifications and features have been officially revealed.
According to GSMArena, the Meizu MX4 Pro comes with a 5.5-inch display screen that is manufactured by Sharp. It supports a display resolution of 2,560 x 1,536 pixels with a pixel density of 542 ppi. It has very narrow bezels and its thickness is only 2.8 mm.
The Meizu MX4 Pro is powered by a 32-bit Exynos 5430 chipset which is manufactured by Samsung. It features a quad-core Cortex A15 processor that clocks at 2.0 GHz and another quad-core Cortex A7 processor that delivers a locking speed of 1.5 GHz. It is accompanied by Mali-T628 M6 grahpics which is supported by 3 GB of RAM. The Meizu MX4 Pro is available in three storage options such as 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. It does not feature a microSD slot.
On the backside of the Meizu MX4 Pro, there is a 20.7 MP IMX220 Exmor RS sensor camera that is enabled with dual LED flash. The front side of the handset features a 5 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. The selfie camera features the OmniVision OV5683 sensor. The handset is running on Flyme 4.0 OS which is a customized edition of Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Meizu MX4 Pro is packed with plenty of connectivity features such as NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and it also supports TD-LTE as well as FDD-LTE networks. The home button of the Meizu MX4 Pro is embedded with a fingerprint scanner. Meizu MX4 Pro’s fingerprint sensor is named mTouch and it is cased in Sapphire glass and the button is surrounded a metal ring which is made up of stainless steel.
Android Headlines states that the Meizu MX4 is extremely popular in Asia but also it has done good business across the globe because of its affordable price tag. The Chinese manufacturer even went on to ship the Meizu MX4 for free to customers worldwide. Meizu will start selling the all new Meizu MX4 Pro from December 6 in China for CNY 2,499 that equates to $410.
