The Microsoft Band will apparently be offered in countries outside the U.S. To be specific, the tech giant will reportedly be selling the wearable Band in the UK from next month onwards. However, the online Microsoft Store in the UK has jumped the queue to offer the device earlier than others.

According to Neowin, the Microsoft Band release date specific to the UK is pegged as mid-April. And speaking of the Microsoft Band price, the gear will reportedly set the buyers back by 169.99 GBP that roughly translates to $250. In comparison, the actual price of the Band in the U.S. is $199.99.

The Band can be purchased from Microsoft’s official Website directly. Plus, the gear can be availed from Amazon, Curry’s PC World, Dixons Travel, Harrods and also from O2, very soon. This fitness gear is reportedly compatible with Apple iOS, Android and Windows Phone powered devices. Apparently, the Microsoft band features ten sensors and the most prominent ones include an optical heart rate monitor, stress levels indicator, microphone, steps counter and UV exposure sensor. Adding a cherry on top, this gadget comes with a pre-built GPS unit. Speaking of key Microsoft Band specifications, the device comes with a 1.4-inch TFT full-colour touch-screen display packed with 320 × 106 pixels resolution. Notably, this smartband supports Bluetooth 4.0 (Low Energy). And the whole configuration is held together by a dual 100 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion polymer batteries. And this battery unit can offer up to 48 hours of battery life, notes Microsoft.
