Microsoft Lumia 1030 Dubbed As Lumia McLaren To Feature 50 Megapixel Camera With 4th Generation Short Pulse LED Flash
Yesterday, IBT had published about a probable successor of Lumia 1020 which is dubbed as Microsoft Lumia McLaren. The Lumia 1020 with its 41 MP PureView technology camera onboard is undoubtedly one of the best camera smartphones available in the market. The successor model of Lumia 1020 is being referred to as Lumia 1030 and its codename is Lumia McLaren.
The Lumia McLaren was expected to feature Kinect-like motion gestures but the feature is put on hold for now. Geek on Gadgets has revealed leaked photos of Lumia 1030. According to The Verge, the feature would have allowed users to use the device without touching the display through off-screen gestures. WMPowerUser states that the handset will still come with interesting hardware features. The Lumia 1030 will be housed with a whopping 50 MP camera powered with PureView technology.
Other than sporting a camera with more number of megapixels, the Lumia 1030 will also come with a bigger camera sensor manufactured by Toshiba. The Lumia 1030 is expected to feature a 5-inch screen that will support a display resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels and it will be powered by quad-core processor. The handset will also come equipped with a 2 GB of RAM and Windows Phone 8.1 OS.
PhoneArena claims that when it comes to topnotch quality imagery, experts believe that having more number of megapixels is not an important factor. Hence, the Lumia 1030 may not just come with a 50 MP camera but it will also come with some exciting camera features. The Lumia 1030 is also rumoured to get unveiled during the Mobile World Congress event that will be held in March 2015.
