At the MWC 2015 event, Microsoft launched the Lumia 640 Dual SIM and Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM smartphones. Notably, both handsets run the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim update on board. However, now the Lumia 640 price details have been revealed.

As it turns out, Microsoft has apparently been importing both Lumia 640 Dual SIM and Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM in substantial quantities to India. According to the Indian import/export tracker Zauba DB, the Dual SIM Lumia 640 price is reportedly set for INR 4,683 that roughly translates to $75. On the other hand, the bigger Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM will set the buyers back by INR 6,710, which roughly translates to $107. However, readers should note that the final Lumia 640 price in the U.S. could be a tad different, as the prices mentioned above are based on conversion rates. It is worth noting that, the Lumia 640 models will apparently be pitched against the upcoming Motorola Moto E (2015), Xiaomi Redmi 2 and the Lenovo A6000, notes GSM Arena.

As far as the key Microsoft Lumia 640 specifications go, the device reportedly comes with a 5.0-inch IPS ClearBlack display complemented by 720p resolution. Moreover, the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology apparently protects the handset screen. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and backed by 1 GB of RAM. When it comes to memory, the Lumia 640 comes equipped with 8 GB of in-built storage and microSD card support for expansion up to 128 GB.

Speaking of camera configuration, there is an 8 MP rear-facing unit with LED flash and a 1 MP front-facing snapper. Other Lumia 640 features include dual-SIM support and 2,500 mAh battery unit.

Meanwhile, the Lumia 640 XL specifications include a humongous 5.7-inch IPS ClearBlack display bundled with 720p resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On the hardware end, the handset comes powered by the same Snapdragon 400 SoC, like the sibling Lumia 640. Other key features that are common between the handsets include 1 GB of RAM configuration and 8 GB of in-built storage.

Furthermore, the handset apparently sports a solid 13 MP rear-facing camera unit with the famed Carl Zeiss optics. Plus, this sensor has the capability to capture full HD videos. In addition, there is also a gracious 5 MP wide-angle snapper unit at the front. And lastly, the device comes packed with 3,000 mAh battery unit.
