Microsoft Lumia 650, Lumia 750, Lumia 850 in the works; likely to release in Q1 2016
All three handsets are currently being tested
Fresh word on newer Microsoft handsets like Lumia 650, the Lumia 750 and Lumia 850 have surfaced while the whole world is ready to embrace the newly released flagship smartphones, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. Speculation indicates all three handsets are currently being tested and are likely to release by first and second quarter next year.
At the beginning of this month, the Indian website Zauba that contains a database of imported goods indicated the Lumia 650 and the Lumia 750 are currently being tested in India. The Lumia 650 is speculated to release in January or February next year.
Zauba also listed a new Windows 10 Mobile handset, said Nokia Power User. Rumours indicate it might be the Lumia 750 handset that will replace the older Lumia 730. It’s currently said to be under test and is expected to release as early as next month or by January 2016.
The Lumia 850 is the third handset that will be released to replace the Lumia 830. It’s expected to be available by February or March 2016. The Lumia 750 and other Lumia phones are going to be equipped iris scanners, according to WM Power User.
A report from NPU said the Lumia 750 will come with 5-inch display that supports a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It will be packed with a Snapdragon 410 chipset and 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage will be 8 GB and it comes with support for external storage. The main camera will be an 8 MP whereas the front-facing shooter will be a 5 MP.
The Lumia 850 will be coming with a 5-inch screen that supports a screen resolution of 768 x 1280 pixels. It will be powered by Snapdragon 410 chipset and 1 GB of RAM. The handset will sport a native storage of 16 GB and also carry support for microSD storage. The rear side of the Lumia 850 will house a 10 MP PureView camera and the front will be fitted with a 5 MP selfie camera.
Other specs include an iris scanner, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 2,650 mAh battery. There is no constructive information available on the purported specs of Lumia 650.
