Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Release Date Speculated As Autumn 2015, Release Timing Lined With Windows 10 Release Date
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date and its features have not been officially announced yet. However, it is expected to replace the Surface Pro 3 tablet that was released last year. The first time when the Surface tablet was launched, it failed to please the audience. However, the huge popularity of Surface Pro 3 indicates that people are eagerly waiting for the successor model, the Surface Pro 4.
According to Master Herald, the Surface Pro 4 release date is aimed towards the end of the year. If this is to come true, the tablet would certainly come preloaded with Windows 10 OS that has not been unveiled yet. Even the Windows 10 release date is expected to set to happen autumn this year, states BGR.
A report from IBTimes states that the Surface Pro 4 is going to feature the Intel Core M processor. AllAfrica reveals that the processor was built to deliver unmatched performance on thinnest devices that cannot feature CPU fans. The Intel Core M processor can deliver 50 percent faster computing speed and it can also produce 40 percent faster GPU performance than the predecessor fourth gen Core CPU. The Intel Core M processor is a power-efficient CPU that can offer longer battery life. AllAfrica adds that in comparison with the predecessor processor, it can support over 8 hours of video playback. The predecessor could support around over 6 hours of video playback.
The IBTimes post says that Surface Pro 4 may arrive in two display sizes. The 14-inch tablet would support a display resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels powered with Intel Core M processor. Nothing much is known about 10-inch device expect for the fact that it will come out with weaker specifications compared to the 14-inch model.
Apple is also rumoured to launch a large-sized tablet called the iPad Pro or the iPad Plus in this year. The IBTimes post on Surface Pro 4 vs iPad Plus shows that both the tablets are expected to come out with impressive specs and features.
