Microsoft Surface Pro 5 2017 may come with PixelSense Display, Kaby Lake chipset & Windows 10 Redstone 2 OS
If reports are to be believed, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 2017 base model will be priced at US$899 (AU$1,190). The 4K UHD variant could carry a hefty price tag as high as US$1,599 (AU$2,100).
Latest reports on the Surface Pro 5 suggest that the device may be launched in early 2017 and will have awesome specs such as a PixelSense Display panel, Kaby Lake processor and improved battery capacity among others.
If the Microsoft incorporates the Kaby Lake chipset into the Surface Pro 5 2017, it is expected to provide users with a 25 percent performance boost along with the improved battery and a high resolution video panel. The Kaby Lake chipset will also help in saving battery.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 could also be having a 12.3-inch PixelSense display with 2K and 4K screen resolutions and RAM capacities from 8GB up to 16GB. The enhanced display panel would be a treat to use. The improved battery in the Surface Pro 5 2017 will provide battery backup of approximately seven hours, writes Tech Times.
Fans and tech enthusiasts also expect an upgraded stylus and standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi and USB Type-C ports. The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 2017 will reportedly run on the Windows 10 Redstone 2 OS. The new update is also set to be released in 2017 just before the Surface Pro 5 launches.

Microsoft is offering discounts on its Surface Pro 4 device, though iDigital Times believes, this may not be the right time to invest in a Surface Pro 4 as the successor is only a few months away from getting unveiled.
