Liam Hemsworth was not even present at the 2013 VMAs, but the Aussie actor received a lot of media attention because of fiancée Miley Cyrus' raunchy performance with "Blurred Lines" singer Robin Thicke. An unnamed source has now revealed to Radar Online that the "Hunger Games" star was left mortified with Miley's naughty onstage act with some close people urging him to call-off the engagement for good.

"Liam really does care about Miley, but her racy new look and sort of ghetto attitude isn't exactly what he signed up for. Her VMA performance absolutely mortified him and he couldn't be more embarrassed. He doesn't really see anything sexy about what she did on stage," Liam's source pal said to Radar Online.

Liam, 23, has always been supportive with the former Disney star including her extreme image change which is a far cry from her look in "Hanna Montana" or "The Last Song." Now, there seems to be a petition going on for Mr Hemsworth to end his relationship with Miley Cyrus after the very disturbing VMA 2013 performance.

"It's not just Liam that Miley is pushing away. His entire team is urging him to part ways with her because she's nothing but negative for his reputation and career. Liam is a serious actor with a growing career, while Miley has just turned into a joke," the source shared.

The source further added: "It's pretty much over. He knows he can't stay with her when this is who she's become. He doesn't want to babysit her anymore. He has to move on." For the past few months, the couple has been rumoured to be going through rough times in their relationship due to their differences.

Recent reports claimed that Miley still loves Liam even though they constantly fight over things. Ms Cyrus has always been expressing her undying love for the Aussie actor to the point that she puts in so much effort to save their relationship.

"It's hard to tell if he's madly in love with her because he's not the type of guy that does the big romantic stuff but he is there for her when she needs him, so that says a lot," the source exclusively divulged to HollywoodLife.com. The insider further added: "Will they actually get married, at this point even her family isn't sure if it will happen, but it's still what Miley wants, she's totally in love with Liam."
