Minecraft mods are a dime a dozen in the web, as there are many gamers who want to enhance their gameplay in a variety of ways.

Here's another one of those mInecraft mods, the MInecraft Butter Mod 1.5.2 from Jerad Zad, who allows for a new set of gameplay enhancing tools and new blocks for world building.

The Washington Times Communities details the Minecraft Butter Mod, which allows for tools with durability of 300 with higher speed of an efficiency 5 enhancement to allow for shredding blocks easily.

Butter in this mod allows the player to defeat the squid army while also allowing players to become a true Butter Warrior and beat up the Enderdragon.

The benefit for this particular mod is that it does not bring significant changes to the gameplay.

Of course, as with most mods, it's not impossible to encounter some bug fixes, the likes of glitches in the Butter Stairs or a crashed game when the non-enchanted Butter apples are eaten, but there's a great feature that those interested in the mod may want to pursue, which is the Butter Dimension.

Guncraft released with Twitch

Exato Games' creation, Guncraft, which is bound for release on July 11, will be launched with full Twitch on its first day.

According to VG 24/7, the developer has already confirmed that players will get a chance to stream their matches via Twitch, with a three-day live stream now being hosted on the game's official Twitch channel.

Judging from how the game has been designed-build your own worlds, destroy your enemy, before he does all those things to you-it will seem like a pretty interesting Twitch streaming, to say the least, as build and destroy has never seen such a creative and pixelated outlet as this.

Guncraft is currently enjoying Steam Greenlight, and will be heading to Valve sometime in the summer.

Putt-Putt craft slapped with cease and desist

Ever enjoyed a game of Putt-Putt in those mini golf maps in Minecraft? Apparently, several players of Minecraft do enjoy this game, pushing Putt-Putt games to popularity.

However, Geekosystem reports that because of this, the actual brand for mini golf, Putt-Putt does not find this an amusing trend and has since then given Mojang a cease and desist order for it.

"We feel that Mojang AB's use of the Putt-Putt ® name has benefited Mojang AB to the detriment of Putt-Putt," said the statement from David Callahan, president and CEO of Putt-Putt, as quoted by Geekosystem.

"Accordingly we require your prompt written assurance that Mojang AB, and each and every person, agent, and entity affiliated with Mojang AB, will immediately refrain from all use of the Putt-Putt ® trademark in connection with your business."

Hopefully this doesn't go through in court or that a settlement can be achieved, considering that Putt-Putt games and even Putt Putt craft has several followings and videos from various Minecraft players.
