Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition is not the only thing that's gaining traction from all the hype of sales this week, as the PC version readies itself for a major update.

As the Minecraft 1.6 release comes near, CG 24/7 reports that a new launcher is in the works, and is a necessity for those who would want to plan Minecraft 1.6 and other later releases.

The good news about the launcher is that not only does it provide new features, security options, and stability in performances, it also comes as a free download.

What's more, this is a necessary addition for Minecraft PC in general, as the current launcher will no longer receive any updates after Minecraft 1.5.2.

GameRanx adds that the Minecraft 1.6 update which is dubbed as the Horse Update, will have several animals akin to horses, as well as resource packs that will also include textures.

The report details some of the content changes and add-ons, such as the replacement texture packs that are resource packs, enabling of crash reports, improved chat systems, and improved attribute systems.

INJUSTICE looking at more character additions?

The guys at NetherRealm Studios have been hard at work, revealing four new skins and two new skin packs over the week, all of which will be available on starting today together with the General Zod DLC.

For the most part, the promised DLCs for the Season Pass have been completed, with Lobo, Batgirl, Scorpion, and General Zod joining the lineup as DLC characters.

But now, it seems that there are more characters in store, though it's not yet confirmed if they will be bonus additions to the Season Pass characters.

"RT @steven421 @noobde any new dlc character announcements soon? EB: YES!"

The tweet came from NetherRealm Studios head Ed Boon in his official Twitter account as a response to a fan question if there would be more DLC characters.

It's pretty admirable for the developer, as they have been providing fans with countless add-ons and skin packs since the game's release. Hopefully, there are plans to have more DLC characters to make the game even more expansive.

Diablo 3 gives its word on the ban once and for all

After the Diablo 3 ban, many fans were wondering what would happen to their accounts, if it is already a permanent ban.

Blizzard Entertainment has released its word on the matter, saying that the bans are a reminder for those who are planning to use third-party software as a cheating mechanism, mentioning that a permanent ban can result if a player continues to do such an action.

"We do not permit the use of hacks, bots, or third-party software in conjunction with Diablo 3," said the team at Blizzard Entertainment in their blog. "Many of the programs intended for use with the game are actually cheat programs and automation programs ("bots") that exploit Diablo 3's mechanics and provide players with an unfair advantage."

In fact, it is even calling out for players who may know about these bots to contact them at their hacks team.
