'Minecraft: Xbox 360' Brings 'Skyrim' Mashup Pack; Twitch Streaming Coming to 'Minecraft'
After fans' countless requests and shout-outs, 4J Studios has already announced that the next "Minecraft: Xbox 360" mashup pack will be none other than the most requested game in polls and forums: "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim."
This made a splash, as 4J Studios officially announced it on their Twitter account, "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Mash-Up Coming to Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition!"
The "Minecraft: Xbox 360" mashup pack was also announced at Minecon 2013 by Mojang, Bethesda Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks and Microsoft Studios, so you know it's really coming.
According to Play XBLA, the "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" mashup pack will have exclusive "Skyrim"-themed texture set, 40 character skins, craftable items, 20 iconic selections from the soundtrack of the original game as well as themed menus and user interface.
"Coming soon, this new pack will transform the legendary world of 'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim' into the iconic, pixelated look of Minecraft," said the developers on Play XBLA.
There's even a pre-made world that features Whiterun, Bleak Falls Barrow and Riverwood to get you started. A couple of screenshots have already been released by 4J Studios, which you can check in the link to Play XBLA above.
For now, the "Skyrim" mashup pack is still in development, so there are no release dates that have been announced yet. But as usual, 4J Studios will likely keep fans posted with screenshot leaks and updates in future.

Twitch is Coming to 'Minecraft'
With Minecon 2013 coming to an end, a quick announcement may delight fans and players of "Minecraft" on the PC and Mac.
Destructoid reports that developer Mojang has announced that it will be partnering with Twitch to broadcast "Minecraft" via the integrated program. What's more, gamers won't have to wait too long for it to come, as it will be heading to the game pretty soon.
"Minecraft has struck a very powerful chord with the Twitch community," said VP of marketing Matthew DiPietro to Destructoid. "Its constantly escalating popularity illustrates that people love to watch video games outside of the headline grabbing eSPorts titles," Mr DiPietro added.
This would be a great expansion for "Minecraft" as a game, and who knows, it may be the first step towards a more global, competitive and even creative way to branch out "Minecraft."
The next question perhaps could be whether or not a similar program will be integrated with the "Minecraft: Xbox 360" edition as well as other upcoming releases on other platforms, like the Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and PS Vita.
