The future of one of the hottest games in the Xbox 360 console is still undefined as to what direction it will take now that the Xbox One will be coming in a few months' time.

There have been reports that hinted at Minecraft Xbox One being an entirely standalone game from its predecessor, as inferred from the following quote from Spencer.

"No, it's a new product on Xbox One," said Spencer in a statement quoted by Eurogamer. "We're actually updating it in pretty significant ways for the new platform. Bigger worlds, which don't translate between the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One."

But checking with 4J Studios' official Twitter account revealed a response by Spencer on the issue of transferring save files, and here's what he has to say, "Just chatted to @PopsRamjet and we are still actually discussing it with @4JStudios! Stay tuned!"

It seems that with many queries going around online, Microsoft may be giving those who have saves and activities in Minecraft Xbox 360 some consideration.

Still, Minecraft Xbox One edition poses some pretty big new features, such as bigger worlds and an improved and expanded multiplayer.

And for those who will be sticking with the Xbox 360 or want to keep playing in the current-gen game, Eurogamer adds that 4J Studios has already confirmed that the Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition will still receive updates well after the launch and release of the Xbox One version.

Metal Gear Solid 5 gets expanded multiplayer

Adding to what has already been revealed at the E3 2013, Metal Gear series creator Hideo Kojima said that gamers can expect a vast multiplayer mode, a definite nod to the questions on a bigger mode online. The plan, it seems, is to create a Metal Gear Online.

"Multiplayer right now is being created at our LA studio as well as us," said Kojima in a statement quoted by GameSpot. "We're working closely to create a vast multiplayer for all the fans."

According to GameSpot, this is all that Kojima was willing to divulge, probably because most of it is still in development.

Assassin's Creed already up in arms with two more games

Before even releasing its latest installment, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Ubisoft is already hard at work with its next two still-unnamed installments.

Videogamer reports that, instead of rushing game production, Ubisoft aims to give time to developers and creators in conceptualizing games and risks that will hopefully pay when the time comes for their release.

"We are making sure the teams who are creating the different iterations have enough time-two years, three years, so that they can take risk and they can change the concept enough so that it can be appealing and fresh," said Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot in a statement quoted by Videogamer."

"Our job is to make sure the teams have enough power, enough energy, and enough time to take the necessary steps to create a high quality game."

There have even been reports that there may actually be three games in development for the succeeding games. While this means that fans can look forward to at least three more years of the AC series, it can also pose as a challenge to developers, to innovate with each installment.
