A lot of fans seem to be clamoring for any word on the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12, and while 4J Studios still doesn't have the update from Microsoft after the Cert Testing, there is a promise that fans can see something after just a while longer of waiting.

In their official Twitter account, 4J Studios reports, "Just waiting for some legal sign-offs, and then we'll be able to show the first mash-up pack."

At least there may be something to look forward to for fans. But for those who are more inclined towards Sony's consoles, PS3, PS4, and PS Vita, you should have heard about

"Happy to confirm we're developing Minecraft PS3, PS4 & PS Vita Editions for Mojang, as well as Xbox 360 & Xbox One Editions!"

Fans sound off about Minecraft's debut on Sony devices

The excitement for Minecraft's debut with Sony has also been well-received by fans. Already, the topic has become a hot one in the Minecraft forums.

"Glad to see that this'd be in the PlayStation series, ALSO very glad that it'll be on PlayStation 3! Minecraft is really growing in its popularity every single day!" said th3ch0zen0ne.

"When it first saw this post, I screamed YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!! Hopefully Mojang cares about the PS3 version as much as the PS4 version," said Creeperman7681.

Of course, along with the announcement comes the questions that fans would want to have answers to at the soonest time possible.

"I'm just curious what version it's going to start in. Most likely the version in which the development started, so likely 1.4, 1.5, or 1.6," said PKMWM1.

For others, the announcement alone was enough to let go of Microsoft's next-gen console in favor of Sony's PS4.

"Well, there is not really much making me want an Xbone now. RoryGee is SOLD to Sony Corporation for 1 console generation!" said RoryGee, Redstone Miner.

And, on the other side of the arena, there are also some who are not taking the news quite as well.

Fevi117 posted, "NO! I will not be playing it in the PlayStation versions. I'm a hardcore Xbox and Microsoft fan, and this news kills me!! What happened to Notch stating that the Xbox will be the sole console provider of Minecraft?!!!"

Another unsatisfied Minecraft player is Krystalking, who posted, "This is such a stupid idea, they said the Xbox would be the sole provider, and I have a vehement hatred for Sony from a horrible customer service encounter. I will just be in the back, watching and seeing how much money it makes. I hope Sony guys know that they have to pay to play online. Either way, Mojang gets a share of the profits that's good."

But there is also another issue that may be brew in the near future, pointed out by CreeperCooperBlock, "I like that PS gets Minecraft. I think every console should get Minecraft. Though, the problem is... when Minecraft gets on PlayStation... then more PS players will join the forum, and then, eventually... console wars of death."

There are a lot of things that can possibly happen once Minecraft finally gets on the PlayStation consoles, starting with the PS4 when it launches on November 15 for the U.S. and November 29 for Europe.
