With Mojang and 4J Studios' combined effort for the Minecraft franchise now reaching over 8 million in combined sales and the Minecraft Xbox 360 enjoying the top spot on the U.K. chart for a third consecutive week, there doesn't seem to be anything more to ask for.

And yet 4J Studios has recently announced that it will has already passed the Minecraft Xbox TU 12 to Microsoft for Cert Testing, meaning that, following previous trends, this means that it will only be a matter of time until the update gets into the hands of fans.

As though wasting no time, the fans themselves have already gotten into a frenzy in the forums, discussing what they would like most to do once the TU 12 becomes available.

Exploring in the jungle

The addition of ocelots may be one of the most anticipated features in the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12. Combined with the jungle wood, creating a jungle or exploring one seem to be one of the common responses in forums.

This may be due to the new items that have been added, most of which include the jungle wood stairs, jungle wood half slab, jungle wood block, jungle wood plants, and the jungle tree sapling.

According to SavageDias, "I'm going to start a new game based on my current seed to see if a jungle pops up. If it does then SWEET! If not then I'll play with the new features that pop up in my current seed."

Minecraft user Ubergine also sees jungles as a form of exploration ground, "I've got an epic TU7 world that I've left unexplored. First thing I'll do is make a copy of it then explore that copy to see if I luck onto a jungle."

As expected the zombies additions in the update has also inspired some of the hardcore gamers to up their game for the update.

"With this new update, now Zombies will not be frowned upon any longer. When night falls, we will need to be even more [vigilant] as they will hunt us down one by one til we've joined the horde," said Roxas6631. "Hard mode is going to get even more exciting, for those who are not the faint of heart and dare to venture into the unknown that is Minecraft."

Fixes in the architecture is also to be expected, seeing as how corners stairs will be making their appearance with this update.

Electricbloz comments, "Literally have dozens of structures that are waiting for upsidedown stairs and slabs."

Predictions for when the TU 12 gets certified

Aside from the anticipation of what users will create with their own worlds, another hot topic is the prediction of when the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12 will be released.

Some believe that it could take as early as five days to get the Cert Testing done. According to THE_ZIPPER, "I think last major update (TU 9) took only 5 to 7 days but I could be wrong. I just can't wait for the new update. It's gonna be pretty amazing. Thank you 4J and whoever works on the Xbox version of Minecraft."

Purplemonkey273 says, "All the bug fixes that I can remember have taken only a few days. Otherwise, if they add features, they take the full 10 days. With that, I predict the 27th for a release, which is my birthday (I know it probably won't happen, but still..."
