The "iCarly" star featured in Best Coast's star-studded music video "Our Deal" shares her thoughts about being directed by famed actress Drew Barrymore.

The young actress, who's famous for her work in the Disney show iCarly, spilled to MTV.com about being featured in the new Best Coast music video directed by Drew Barrymore. According to the star, she has been a fan of Barrymore since her childhood and got nervous on meeting the actress. "I've been watching Drew Barrymore movies ever since I was really little, so I was nervous to meet her", says Cosgrove in the interview. But the young star quickly got over her nerves as Barrymore's personality unfolded in front of her eyes. "She's really like your best friend", continues Cosgrove in the same post.

The music video directed by Barrymore is for surf pop indie group Best Coast and their song "Our Deal". The video tells a Grease-esque storyline with two leads (Kick Ass star Chloe Moretz and Teen Wolf's Tyler Posey) from the rival groups falling in love despite their differences. Just like a predictable ending for star-crossed lovers, the story is met with a depressing ending, with one main character falling to his demise. Cosgrove plays alongside Moretz and Arrested Development's Alia Shawkat as members of the gang "Night Creepers", a group that ran the streets at night. The group has a rival called the "Day Trotters", preppy-clad youngsters consisting of Community's Donald Glover and other known faces. Kick ass star.

Cosgrove then described the professionalism of Barrymore as a director, saying that the veteran was "really into it". "She's really laid-back and she was really excited to be doing the video and super into it. She directed the whole video, which was really cool. It was really surreal" adds Cosgrove in the same MTV.com post.
