The sixth season of the Emmy Award Winning comedy series “Modern Family” is in the home stretch and it remains to be seen if this season is deserving of a sixth consecutive award. This week’s episode is entitled “Integrity” and it’s all about parenting. Here’s what to expect:: [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

On episode 21 of “Modern Family,” Jay and Phil go on a short drive to pick up Lily’s hand me down for Joe. It all seems like a normal thing to do between cousins except that the hand-me-down toy is a princess castle.

According to the episode synopsis released by ABC, neither Joe nor Phil are happy to be driving down to get this toy. First of all, macho Jay does not think that it’s a good idea for his little boy to be playing with so many “girlie” toys. Let’s remember that this is a sensitive issue for Jay since his only son Mitchell, is gay. This means he’s longing to play boy’s games with his young son this time around.

Phil isn’t in a great mood either because he has his own toy problems. While Joe is getting a new Princess Castle, He is pining for a new video game console. Unfortunately for him, his wife Claire does not approve of his plans.

Meanwhile, Mitch and Cam are left to babysit Joe. The couple really get into it and start considering the possibility of adopting another baby to expand their family. They already have one daughter, Lily and she could probably use a little sibling. The idea seems great until Joe starts acting up and proves to be quite the handful. At this point, a second baby does not seem all too appealing.

Elsewhere, Joe’s mom Gloria is busy helping out her niece Haley. When Haley encounters some problems at work, Gloria whips out her Colombian spunk and teaches Haley how to stand up for herself. While all this is happening, Haley’s mom Claire, is busy trying to get her son Luke’s school principal to give him one of the annual student awards. Claire resorts to bribery to get what she wants. All the hilarity ensues as episode 21 of “Modern Family” airs on Wednesday at 9:00 pm on ABC.
