Prince Albert II and his wife Princess Charlene of Monaco have released their first Christmas card with their twins. The tiny tots Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who turned one on Dec. 10, took centre stage in the family picture. The picture was clicked at the Monaco royal family’s Roc Agel retreat on Nov. 20.

The photograph shows the couple relaxing with their twins. Charlene had reportedly requested for an informal picture for the royal Christmas card this year. The picture has been captured by Christopher Morris.

The picture shows Albert as he sits on a couch with Jacques perched on his lap. Charlene, meanwhile, sits on a plush carpet holding her daughter Gabriella, who stands next to her happily munching away an apple. The royal twins looked cute in the family picture, which shows little Jacques staring at the camera.

The prince wears brown trousers, white sweater, brown canvas shoes and white socks. Gabriella wears a white frock and matching socks. The mother-of-two wears a white skirt paired with a turtle neck brown T-shirt. She relaxes on the floor on the thick carpet. Her brown boots are also seen, while she wears her signature red lipstick and blonde pixie cut.

Behind is a fireplace with fire burning to keep the Monaco royals warm in the chilly weather. Next to Albert is the Christmas tree with ornaments and trinkets hanging all over it. On top of the fireplace more Christmas decorations and candle stands are seen.

The 57-year-old Monegasque sovereign also looks relaxed in a black sweater, matching trousers and white shirt. He is pictured without his spectacles. Charlene and Albert are seen smiling for the camera.

The picture was taken just a day after the Monaco National Day celebrations and shows the hands-on style of parenting of the 37-year-old princess. During the relaxed afternoon at home, the couple and their twins shot a brief video, People reports.

The inside of the card is signed with the couple’s interlocked "A" and "C" initials beneath a crown. There is also a Christmas message in French, English and Monegasque. It has been a very busy year for the Monégasque couple and their little children. The twins first made their public appearance at Albert's 10 anniversary on the throne in July. In August, they wore traditional costumes for the Monaco’s annual picnic. They attended the World Climate March along with their parents on Nov. 29 and celebrated their first birthday with local school children where Jacques also walked a few wobbly steps.
