More Details for GTA 5, Angry Birds: Star Wars 2 Release Date Revealed; Diablo 3 Headed for PS4 and Xbox One in 2014
A few interesting details about the game has come up, thanks to a report made by a Japanese magazine, detailing a customizable companion, animations, missions, and other features in the game.
To start off, you have Chop, your companion dog, whom you can customize with accessories. It's supposed to act like a real dog--so if you're not a very great owner, there's a big chance that you will lose the dog along the way.
VG 24/7 adds that there will also be an underwater mission made for Trevor and Michael where they will be using jet skis.
Animation has also been improved since the last game, to the point that each character has a specific walking pattern in order to different the characters from each other.
The report also announces the game's release date in Japan, which will be on October 10, short of a month after its worldwide release on September 17. Check out the recently released gameplay video, while you wait for two more months before the release.
Angry Birds with Star Wars look coming this summer
A new game from Rovio, Angry Birds: Star Wars 2 will be coming to mobile app stores this September 16, and this time, as the title implies, there will be the force to go with them.
What's unique about this game is that there will be telepods used so that players can easily get in-game features by "placing toy figurines into the game via the camera, reports Polygon.
So far, 30 figurines for telepods will be launched with the game. Since this is a Star Wars franchise, it's not surprising that Rovio will also release a line of merchandise, featuring characters like Anakin, Mace Windu, and Darth Maul.
"We are thrilled to be able to introduce the exciting new chapter in the Angry Birds Star Wars saga to our fans around the world," according to Rovio's official press release. The game will also be made available at Comic Con for those who want a quick preview.
Diablo 3 headed for next-gen
This year, Diablo 3has already crossed the boundary between PC and console as it readies for releases in the PS3 and Xbox 360 come September this year.
GameSpot reports that there are already plans for a next-gen release, with the PS4 console already confirmed. Given that this year, Diablo 3 will launch for both current gen consoles, it's highly likely that an Xbox One release will be announced soon enough.
The report also announces that it's slated for a 2014 release, as the developers will be bringing new features for the platforms that it will be releasing on.
