Quite a number of new games are making their way to the PS4 platform, and a couple of them are award-winning games at that. Recently announced at the official PlayStation Blog, you can now expect five more games dropping by Sony's next-gen console.

The first is the indie game The Witness from Jonathan Blow. The developer reveals that the open world game does not follow a strict path in the game, but rather exploration of the huge island is crucial. Add pretty smooth graphics, which the team is working on right now, and you just might have one of the most complex games to hit next-gen.

What's more, the game length can be put anywhere between 25 to 40 hours, depending on the kind of gaming style and if you plan to pursue all the routes that you can find in the game.

"We wrote our own engine for this game, so on the one hand, it means we get to do a lot of work," said Blow in PlayStation Blog. "But on the other hand, it means we have precise control and can tweak it carefully until it is the highest-quality experience we can deliver."

Thatgamecompany has two games getting on the PS4. Flower has also been confirmed to not only come to the PS Vita but also the PS4 as a title accompanying the launch of the PS4. At the same time, flOw, which shoots off from the original flOw web browser game on the PS3, is also coming to both the PS4 and PS Vita on November 29.
