LG G Watch R is on display at the IFA Berlin 2014. According to WSJ the launch date of the Smartwatch is scheduled to be on the 14th of October 2014.

The LG G Watch R is sleek and slim. The design was built for both genders. The watch is very trendy with straps that could be changed according to the user's taste. The thickness of the strap is 22mm or 0.86 inch. It also has a winding button on the side of the watch that gives a feel of the regular watch, but this button is only a power button.

This android wear also shows the one who wears it the weather forecasts, flight timings and other information. It is compatible with android 4.3 and above.

The Smartwatch has a 1.3 inch circular P-OLED display with a 320 x 320 resolution and 245 PPI with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2 GHz CPU, 512 MB RAM, including 4 GB storage.

The display is smaller than Moto 360 that has a 1.5 inch LCD screen. It allows the wearer to check time and other information without having to touch the screen.

It has Bluetooth 4.0 to provide connectivity, a microphone that is built in for voice controls and has IP67 that is water and dust resistant. Many water sport and swimming fans would be very pleased with the water proof smartwatch.

To keep track of the user's health, the watch has bio sensors like accelerometer, compass, Gyro, fitness tracker, barometer and heart rate monitor.

The battery of the device is 400 mAh.There is a lot that is going on inside. A micro USB slot is given to charge the watch. LG claims that with a single charge the battery will last for a day.

The LG G Watch R is available in two colours, Black Titan and White Gold. The cost of the Smartwatch is around €299 (£240 and $394).

The watch will be released on the 14th of October 2014.
