Gervais has said and done all that he can ever offer that he has been hiding up his sleeve. The comedian made attempts of outing Jodie Foster and insulting other stars in a very sarcastic manner.

In short, he made the Golden Globes 2012 event one of the most memorable ones because of his opening monologue.

It was a good choice to have him as the host of the momentous event and he never failed everyone who was hoping that he would not hold anything back even when it is about going after the hottest and biggest Hollywood celebrities in the planet.

He described Colin Firth as a racist and does a lot of nasty stuff like punching a blind kitten. He calls him the evil Colin Firth.

He even made a joke about his own self on his being very careful not to be profane with his hosting style and a no nudity rule.
