The much anticipated Moto 360 smartwatch was revealed through a media event in Chicago on September by Motorola. The smartwatch was launched with a price tag of $250. During the event, Motorola had also introduced two second generation smartphones, the Moto X and the Moto G.

Within three hours of making the Moto 360 smartwatch available on sale in the US, Google Play Store and Motorola’s website listed it as sold out. On Twitter, Motorola posted a tweet which read ‘Unfortunately Moto 360 is sold out on Motorola.com. Availability may be limited for a while.’

Motorola is encouraging prospective buyers to sign up with them, so that they can be notified when tbe new Moto 360 stocks are made available. Re/code claims that the Moto 360 will be available at Best Buy from Sept 14. Currently, even Best Buy has listed the Moto 360 as ‘sold out.’

To make sure that you are able to buy a Moto 360 smartwatch, Best Buy is suggesting the audience to pay $25 deposit through a gift card. Once the Moto 360 stocks arrive, the gift card can be used to purchase the Moto 360.

The Moto 360 has not been made available in UK. It will arrive in October with a price tag of £199.

Moto 360 is an amazing smartwatch that comes with circular body. It is fitted with a 1.5inch LED screen which offers a display resolution of 320 x 290 pixels. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 covering.

Moto 360 is equipped with health-centric features like heart rate monitor and pedometer. The Moto 360 sports a water-resistant body which means even if the smartwatch is kept immersed in 3.3 feet water for 30 minutes; it won’t get damaged by water.

You can establish connection between your Moto 360 and smartphone through Bluetooth. This will allow you to view all your notifications like SMS, email and calls through ‘Vibration Alerts’ feature on your Moto 360.

Moto 360 has several competitors in the market which include the LG G Watch R which comes with a round display, the Samsung Gear S which is equipped 3G SIM for making calls and accessing web, and the Sony SmarWatch 3 and the Asus Zenwatch.
