Moto X 2014 Available In The UK With Limited Stock, Priced At £395
Moto X 2014 sales have already started in the US. However, Moto X fans in the UK will have to wait slightly longer. According to GSMArena, the popular UK retailer, Unlocked Mobiles has made it public that the Moto X is available with them but the stock is quite limited.
In the UK, the unlocked Moto X 2014 with 16 GB stroage is priced at £395 through Unlocked Mobiles. They are currently offering the black coloured variant of the handset.
Android Headlines claims that even Amazon UK will be selling the Moto X very soon and it will begin shipping the handset from Oct 7. With Amazon UK, the black coloured variant will be available for £420. The Moto X with black leather will be priced at £440 with Amazon UK.
According to Android Headlines the Moto X is selling pretty well in the US. There are three variants of Moto X available in the US, an AT&T version, a Verizon version and lastly an unlocked Pure Edition variant.
As of now, Motorola has no plans for launching a Sprint version of Moto X. Android Headlines also states that the customization feature called Moto Maker will be in UK and other countries. This feature was exclusively available in the US for the original Moto X.
After a long lull, Motorola has finally started selling its handsets in the UK. The Moto G 2014 is the only handset that has been around since the past two weeks in the UK.
The Moto X 2014 is a powerful handset that features 5.2-inch display screen that supports full HD resolution with a pixel density. It is powered by Sanpdragon 801 chipset which comprises of 2.5 GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 330 graphics. It is accompanied with 2 GB RAM. The handset will be available in two inbuilt storage versions, 16 GB and 32 GB. There is no external storage on the handset.
The rear camera of the device is of 13 MP which comes with ringer flash and the front-facing camera is of 2 MP. It comes with an impressive battery of 2,300 mAh capacity. It comes preloaded with Android v4.4.4 KitKat. Moto X specs GSMArena claims that the handset will also receive the Android L update.
