Motorola Droid Turbo Battery Life Test Reveals Outstanding Battery Performance
Motorola Droid Turbo is equipped with one of the best specs that can be seen in a smartphone these days. The handset features a 5.2-inch quad HD display with support for a screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. It is packed with Snapdragon 805 chipset and is powered with a massive 3,900 mAh battery. GSMArena conducted Motorola Droid Turbo battery life test to understand the battery prowess of the handset. Here are the tests that were carried out:
3G Talk Time Test
AfterHuawei Ascend Mate 2 4G that offers a 3G talk time of 33:19 hours. After Ascend Mate 2 4G, the next best is Motorola Droid Turbo that offers a whopping talk time of 30:09 hours. The highly popular Galaxy Note 4 lags behind the Droid Tubro a 3G talk time record of 28:34 hours. The Apple iPhone 6 Plus lasted for 23:49 hours in the 3G talk time test.
Web Browsing Test
GSMArena claims that the ultra-sharp quad HD display consumes a lot of power because of which it could not last more than 11:31 hours. The Sony Xperia Z3 is better performer in this segment with score of 12:03 hours. Its score is still ahead of Galaxy Note 4’s internet browsing record of 10:44 hours.
Video Playback Test
The massive battery of Droid Turbo fails to impress in this segment. It supports continuous video playback of 13:41 hours. The Galaxy Note 4 is able to last longer for 17:26 hours on continuous video playback. The best performer is LG G Flex which can play videos continuously for 19:57 hours.
The endurance rating of Motorola Droid Turbo is quite impressive.
