Motorola Droid Turbo Specifications Revealed Through New GFXBench Benchmark
On Friday, IBTimes reported about the rumoured Motorola Droid Turbo specifications. Now a new GFXBench benchmark test has revealed a lot about the specs of the device, which appear to be very promising.
The newly revealed Motorola Droid Turbo specs that have been revealed through the leaked images of new benchmark actually coincide with what IBTimes previously reported. The Droid Turbo will be featuring a 5.2-inch display screen. It will support a quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440. This means that Motorola joins Samsung and LG in churning out devices with quad HD displays. The Motorola Droid Turbo will also be powered by a Snapdragon 805 chipset that comes with a quad-core processor of 2.6 GHz and Adreno 420 graphics.
The leaked image lists a 2.9 GB memory and a storage capacity of 21 GB, but TechnoBuffalo claims that the handset would come out with a 32 GB storage capacity. It will come preloaded with Android v4.4.4 KitKat.
The rear camera of Motorola Droid Turbo is 20 MP and will support ultra HD video. It will also have features like LED and autofocus. The front side of the handset will feature a 2 MP shooter, which supports full HD recording.
Other features of the Droid Turbo listed on the GFXBench leaked image are accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor, compass, proximity sensor, GPS, Bluetooth and NFC. Users can only use a single SIM card on the device.
As previously reported, the Droid Turbo will be exclusively available through Verizon. In 2013, Motorola released three Droid smartphones: the Droid Ultra, the Droid Maxx and the Droid Mini. This year, Motorola Droid Turbo is the only Verizon Droid phone announced till now. According to Verge, Motorola may only reveal one Verizon Droid smartphone this year. Until now, there has been no official announcement on Droid Turbo by Motorola.
