The Moto G was released in the last quarter of 2013. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo is the recent entry in the Grand series of Samsung smartphones released in February 2014.

The Moto G has a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, with a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Grand Neo comes with a bigger screen size of 5.01 inches with a much lesser 480 x 800 pixel resolution.

The Grand Neo is capable of supporting up to 186 ppi of pixel density, which is much lower than the 326 ppi of the Moto G. Nevertheless, the big screen size of Neo helps subdue this limitation.

Thickness and weight of the Moto G are 0.46 inches and 143 g, respectively. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Grand Neo is 0.38 inches thick and weighs 163 g. The Moto G is one of the bulkiest smartphones released in the recent times, but it is surprisingly lighter when compared to the Grand Neo.
