Emotions run high on Ramsay Street as heartbreaking events hound the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Wednesday, Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) is still shocked and confused after finding out that Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner) kissed Victoria Lamb (Claudia Greenstone).

Worse, Steph admitted that she’s attracted to Victoria, making Mark wonder if their relationship could still be salvaged. Meanwhile, Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey) is also stunned when she learns that Dee Bliss (Madeleine West) has been hiding a daughter. Even more surprising, Dee claims Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) is the father. Other “Neighbours” characters who will appear prominently on the Feb. 1 episode include Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard) and Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Meer).

“Neighbours” also stars Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel), Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns), Ned (Ben Hall), Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) and Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Wednesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Dee admits that Willow is the reason why she came back to Erinsborough. “I swear, I wanted to see if there was any chance that you would accept her into your life,” she says. Toadie confirms that Willow has been in Dee’s room the whole time without a clue, and Dee replies that she had to sort things out with him first.

When Toadie insists that there was plenty of time to make that big revelation, Dee argues that it was never the right time. “Just by being here, I feel like I’m ruining your life,” she claims. “I’m not going to get her hopes up if this is all going to fall apart.” Digital Spy reports that Sonya is equally as shocked as Toadie when she finds out that he and Dee has a secret daughter.

Also on Wednesday, Mark still can’t wrap his head around Steph’s confessions. She insists that she loves him and wants to fix their relationship, but it may be too late. Meanwhile, Ben and Xanthe decide to set their differences aside and devise a plan to reconcile Susan and Sheila. As they try to patch things up between the two, Ben and Xanthe may also start getting closer again.

“Neighbours” recap

On Tuesday, Steph and Mark checked Dee’s room after he suspected that there’s someone in there. However, before Steph could open it using her key, Dee arrived just in time. They didn’t find anyone in there, but after Mark and Steph left, Dee reprimanded someone for almost being caught.

Later, Mark told Sonya and Toadie that based on Dee’s DNA results turned out to be positive – it really is her. Toadie went to tell Dee and at her room, she found a girl. When he asked Dee who she was, Dee dropped a shocking bombshell: the young girl is Willow, their daughter.

Now that Dee’s identity has been proven, Sonya became emotional and realised the impact of Toadie’s ex-wife presence in their lives. Once again, she opened up to Mark, who tried to comfort her. Their talk turned to his relationship, and he shared about his suspicions – that something’s going on between Steph and Victoria. Sonya dispelled Mark’s worries and guaranteed there’s nothing to be concerned about. When Mark confronted Steph, she confessed that Victoria kissed her but she didn’t return it. However, when Mark asked is she’s attracted to Victoria, Steph had to admit she did. Completely upset, he walked off.

Ben and Xanthe’s dodgeball rivalry seemed to have escalated, making Susan worry. She reckoned it’s best for her and Sheila to be there and make sure the friendly match won’t end up terribly. However, during the game, Sheila unleashed her competitive side and fuelled the tension between the two young ones. In the end, Ben’s team won and Sheila lost it, accusing him of being a cheat.

Later, Sheila went over to Susan, asking her to sign a petition to lift the ban against her at the recreation centre. Harsh words were exchanged, and Susan ended up spraying water on to Sheila’s face. Sheila retaliated by throwing mud all over Susan.
