Ghosts from the past terrorise Ramsay Street once again on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Monday, Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner) is horrified to learn that her nightmares are far from over. Her deranged stalker resurfaces, and he’s determined to make Steffy pay for everything that has happened.

Meanwhile, a familiar face is also spotted at the neighbourhood: Ned Willis’ (Ben Hall) ex-girlfriend. He finds himself in a sticky situation, especially because he’s now heavily involved with Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta). Other “Neighbours” cast members who will also appear on the Sept. 12 episode include Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel), Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Meer), Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard), Madison Robinson (Sarah Ellen), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson) and Sheila Canning (Colette Mann).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Monday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Ned tells his ex-girlfriend Regan that she’ll always have a place in his heart. However, he can’t let out those feelings because too many people would get hurt. Unable to contain herself, Regan kisses Ned but he pulls away. Mark witnesses the whole thing.

Digital Spy reports that Mark confronts Ned after seeing him with Regan. The police officer also issues Elly a warning about Ned. However, Mark’s word of caution turns out to be vague, leaving Elly to believe that he’s interested in her. It appears that Mark faces an even bigger problem – when Steph goes home from the pigeon race day at Lassiters, she’s surprised to see Ari. Apparently, the stalker escaped while on his way to the psychiatric facility.

According to Digital Spy, Monday’s episode also features Xanthe, who finally hears Ben’s song for her.

“Neighbours” recap

Last week, Xanthe informed Sheila that Madison is hooking up with Ben. What Xanthe didn’t know was that Madison was helping Ben with a grand romantic gesture: he’ll serenade Xanthe at the pigeon race day. Sheila spotted Madison and Ben talking and even hugging. Assuming the worst, she fired Madison from performing at The Waterhole. The news immediately reached Ben, and he headed angrily to Xanthe to confront her about it. Ben said he won’t hang out ever again with her, making Xanthe mad as well.

At school, Susan spotted Piper picking up trash. Apparently, Elly put Piper in detention again for failing to apologise about the official complaint she filed. Susan began to think that Piper may be right – Elly might really be biased against the schoolgirl. Later, Susan confronted Elly about Piper’s punishment and said that it’s quite excessive. Elly said Piper must have misunderstood what she said. Susan then switched Ben and Piper’s English assignments before submitting them to Elly.

After Elly’s done marking the papers, Susan checked with her and proved Piper was telling the truth. Susan then told Elly about the switch, leaving the latter dumbfounded. Backed into a corner, Elly admitted that she’s being biased against Piper. Susan said that while Elly’s not fired, she had to be put under probation and undergo counselling. Elly also had to apologise to Piper in front of Brad and admit her wrongdoings. Despite being vindicated, Piper said she won’t pursue any further charges. Susan assured Brad that all of Piper’s works since Elly started will be reviewed and changed accordingly. Piper also displayed an act of maturity – she said it’s time for her and Elly to work on their relationship as well. Elly also came clean to Ned, and he saw it as an opportunity to be honest about his previous affairs. However, he backtracked and kept it a secret.

At The Waterhole, Brad was having fun with his groomsmen Karl and Toadie, as well as his best man, Ned. Toadie wanted to throw an extravagant bachelor party for Brad and said that the groomsmen should cover the expenses. Karl was worried about the money, until he spotted the poster about the Lassiters’ pigeon race day. The prize, according to the poster, was $5,000. Later, Karl informed Susan about the pigeon that he bought for the race, which he got for $500. He insisted that it’s a bargain, but Susan wasn’t buying it.

Paul confronted Gary about the pigeon race day, which was ruining the opening of Robinson’s new restaurant. Gary suggested changing the date, but it would mean that Terese would win, which he definitely didn’t want. Later, Paul was giving away discount flyers for truffle tasting at his new restaurant. However, Terese beat him once again – she’s offering truffle tasting for free at the pigeon race day. It also seemed that Terese bought out everything from the same supplier. As Paul walked out, he heard Toadie making a pun about “putting the cat amongst the pigeons.” Paul suddenly had an idea how to sabotage Terese’s event. Later, he got Clementine and went to the Cannings, showing her the pigeons for the race.
