“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Tuesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Ari kidnaps Steph, putting a blindfold on her and taking her to some place. Steph insists that Mark will find them no matter where they are. When Steph refuses to step out of the car, Ari threatens her with a snake. Left with no choice, Steph gets out and he brings her to what looks like a warehouse.
Digital Spy reports that Ari is bent on making Steph pay back for what she did to his great love, Belinda. Believing the snakes only bite people who are evil, he wants to test this theory on Steph. Realising that Steph is in jeopardy, Jack searches for her and finds her at the Blaze Outreach Centre. He arrives just when Ari is about to release the snakes on Steph.
Meanwhile, spoilers also suggest that Gary wins in the pigeon race day, but his celebration gets cut short after receiving a phone call from the racing officials. It appears that his bird, Lassiters, was doped, which leads to his disqualification. Gary immediately blames Paul.
“Neighbours” recap
On Monday, Piper looked for Clementine, her missing cat, at the Cannings’ house. She and Xanthe were horrified to find out that Clementine ate the pigeons for the race day. Gary’s pigeon, Lassiters, survived the incident. Gary pointed his finger on Piper, but she insisted a cat won’t be able to open the birds’ cages. Terese didn’t waste time confronting Paul about it, but he denied any involvement. Paul was disheartened, however, when Terese told him that their star pigeon survived.
Meanwhile, Mark spotted Regan talking to Ned. She confronted him about his new girlfriend. Ned admitted he is involved with someone else, but Regan will always have a special place in his heart. Regan wasn’t able to contain herself and kissed Ned. He pulled away, but not before Mark saw them in a lip-lock. Mark took a photo of them hugging. Later, he told Elly that she could do better than Ned, but didn’t elaborate. Elly took it the wrong way, and reckoned that Mark’s interested in her. Ned learned about this and confronted Mark, who said he saw what happened earlier. Mark threatened Ned to tell the truth.
Despite suffering from an injury, Lassiters the pigeon won the race, much to everyone’s delight. The event was a huge success, while Paul’s restaurant opening was a complete dud. Gary gave Paul his prize and quit his job at Robinson’s. Meanwhile, everyone went to The Waterhole to watch Madison’s performance, including Xanthe. Earlier, Xanthe apologised to Madison and told her she has her job back. Xanthe also gave her “blessing” on Madison’s relationship with Ben. Later, Ben sang the song he wrote for someone who drives him crazy, and someone he’s crazy about. Xanthe was surprised to hear that the song was for her. After his performance, Xanthe went up to the stage and kissed Ben.
Annoyed with Mark’s beef with Ned, Steph went back to his place to pack her stuff and move back to the Rebecchis. She suddenly felt someone’s in the house. At the police station, a notice came out: Ari escaped. He then showed up at Mark’s house, terrifying Steph, especially after seeing that he brought his snakes with him.
