New Android L Ads Showcases Nexus 6 Phablet And Nexus 9 Tablet
The Android L is the newest edition of Android OS that is expected to come preloaded on the new Nexus devices that are heavily rumoured to get unveiled tomorrow. Three leaked ads of Android L have surfaced through Droid Life showcasing the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 devices.
All the new ads carry the line 'Be together, not the same'. According to 9to5google.com, the new slogan is an indication that the Android L will bring unified experience on wide range of devices. All the ads feature a link to a new Android webpage that is currently inactive. According to NDTV, the link will become active when Google makes an official announcement on the new OS.
One of the videos clearly indicates that this time around Google is looking forward to enter the segment with Nexus 6. In the ad, people are seen standing at the bust stop and a phone starts ringing. Among the five people standing there, the smallest one pulls out a large smartphone and starts conversing. The Nexus 6 would be Google's first phablet device which is also referred with different names like the Nexus X or Motorola Shamu on tech sites.
Another video shows people a group of people commuting in a bus. Among them, two people are seen holding two gadgets. NDTV says that one of them is in all probability the Nexus 6 and the other one seems to be a tablet which may roll out in the market as Nexus 9.
The Nexus 6 will be sporting a 5.9-inch display screen that will support quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will be powered with Snapdragon 805 SoC and 3 GB RAM. It is also expected to feature a 13 MP camera with support for 4K video recording. It will also feature 3,200 mAh battery.
The Nexus 9 will feature an 8.9-inch display with support for 2048 x 1440 pixels. The tablet will be powered by 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor along with 2 GB RAM. It will feature two internal storage options, 16 GB and 32 GB.
