Get ready to download some of these apps, if you're into creating content, playing another installment of the Cut the Rope addictive series, getting a new restaurant suggestion, being in-the-Twitter-know in music, and keeping track of your Internet signal's health and strength.

Twitter #Music

You already have Spotify and iTunes--why get another music app? For one, the music charts on Twitter #music are only based on Twitter, with a #NowPlaying chart updated by those who follow you on Twitter. So now you can be up-to-speed when it comes to the trending songs on Twitter.

According to The Guardian, you can even tweet on what you think about the songs and place a hashtag on it so other people can know your thoughts.

This format is from the minds of We Are Hunted, Twitter's recently-acquired company which has been in the business of music startups since before.

For now, Twitter #music is only available on the iOS and in select countries, but it's still new, and plans of wider distribution and an eventual Android release is already in the works.

Ness

When it comes to finding great food and restaurants, nothing beats matching your preference and suggesting novel places that you'd be pleasantly surprised with. This is what Ness offers.

As an app that is socially-focused and integrated with your Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare account, TechCrunch reports that Ness takes it upon itself to learn about your preferences, and make use of its data analysis and current data about you to give you more suggestions on where you can eat out next time.

It's like your own personal friend who recommends a great restaurant that she's already been to, and one that you may not have heard of. What's more, you're provided with maps so you'll know how to get there.

"We're just getting started here--I want to make it even more at-a-glance," said Scott Goodson, Ness designer, to TechCrunch. "A lot of people need this type of mapping view to really get a lot out of this type of app. But there's a lot more to do."

OpenSignal

OpenSignal is also great as a budget tool, as it logs your network status and how much you use your phone. Apart from signal health, the app also aids in keeping track of your data cap, so you won't have to deal with bill shock.

And even if it runs in the background, you don't have to worry about your battery life, as it uses up as little energy as possible. As an app for tracking the health of your signal, the network you're connected to, and your signal strength, its works out pretty neatly, according to Current Editorials.

It also has its downs, including the widget that is more of a bother than a help, but overall, if you want to be updated with your Internet connection and usage, it's not such a bad add-on to your list.

Flowboard

Drawing apps are relatively proliferate in the app world, but there are only a few that lets you mesh a lot of medium into the mix.

Take Flowboard, for instance. You can create visuals that make use of templates, import photos and videos, and integrate text and web links into your creation, the outcome of which can be stored in the cloud or re-synced, in case you are working offline.

"We believe that this is the future of storytelling," said CEO Brent Brookler to Pando Daily. "Hopefully this will debunk the myth once and for all that you can't create great content on these devices and enjoy doing so."

For those with privacy issues, however, you may have a hard time dealing with Flowboard's open-to-public view, as it is the default setting. This means that, for the most part, if what you will be using the app for revolves around private moments with family and friends, you may have a light bit of problem.

Flowboard is offered as a freemium or paid premium version, with the difference being an additional monthly storage capacity and larger file size limits for an additional $5.
