ASUS started boosting its line of products for the past couple of months already. Suffice it to say that the company is on fire when it comes to product releases. Not only did it achieve success with the second generation Nexus 7 but it has also been releasing devices earning positive reception and reviews. This time, Asus wants to take on the tablet market with the new Eee Pad, the Asus Taurus.

Can Asus Taurus beat the likes of the iPad? Sources also indicated that the tablet can also compete with Samsung's ATIV Book and MacBook's resolution. Sounds too good to be true, but Asus intends to prove it.

As mentioned, Asus has released a number of exceptional devices. The company has offered a varied range of formats including specs and sizes. For example, the Memo Pad Series has given the company a chance to promote and prove devices with their own brand can compete with other big companies. Nonetheless, there were sources saying that if leaks were true then the new Eee Pad, codenamed Taurus, can be another major and successful ticket for Asus.

Benchmark has confirmed that the device will go by the name Taurus, and it promises some good 3D graphics. The new Asus Eee Pad tablet will come with a resolution support of 2560 x 1604. The device will also run on a Tegra 4 processor. Other features reported included the Android 4.2.2 and a keyboard duck. There were no details yet about the memory of the device and added features.

People will have to wait for Asus to make an official announcement.

Likewise, since the IFA 2013 nears, analysts assumed that Asus will announce and confirm details of the Taurus tablet during the event. It is even possible that the company will already launch the product during this time though this can still be disputed. Asus has been an avid advocate of the Tegra components. The company has also previously partnered with NVIDIA for CPUs integrated into their previous Eee Pad devices.

The question now is whether the partnership will yield another market hit. It is not secret that the tablet market has been dominated by the iPad series and, lately, the Nexus line. Once Asus releases their Taurus tablet, it will compete directly with Apple and Google.

Reports also added that Taurus will serve as the successor of the Transformer Pad Infinity 700.
