After the numerous leaks for concept art of the rewards, weapons, vehicles and medals for "Battlefield Hardline" and the official reveal from EA, Visceral Games and DICE, another video has leaked that supposedly featured gameplay footage from the upcoming title.

The video has already been pulled, which can mean it really did contain actual footage of "Battlefield Hardline." If so, Polygon reports the footage showed off the four types of roles by which the player can be deployed as also detailed in the previous preliminary leaks.

The leaked footage of "Battlefield Hardline" also gave a glimpse of the multiplayer server, some vehicles in the game and even the modes for a map. An even more interesting development is that Amy Hennig, who was a Naughty Dog veteran and now staying with Visceral Games, is reportedly the writer for "Battlefield Hardline."

E3 2014 is shaping up to be an exciting day for "Battlefield Hardline" because, as far as official statements are concerned, the previously seen material leaked for the title are at least half a year old.

New 'Battlefield 4' Netcode Update Tested with CTE

Weeks after introducing the Community Test Environment, which is DICE's new system for rolling out new fixes for the "Battlefield 4" game to the community, the first slew of updates are now ready to roll out to the public.

Dubbed the High Frequency Network Update, this "Battlefield 4" update will allow for more frequent updates for smoother player experience. According to the Battlefield Blog, the High Frequency Network Update is turned off when released, so players would need to enable the setting to experience the improvements in the network.

There are also three levels in terms of connection, low, medium and high. The update is dependent on the type of connection players have. For instance, high setting will be possible for players who have 1 Mbit or faster.

The update will be rolled out to servers with 48 players and a handful of those with 64 players. To ensure a smooth run, DICE will be keeping an eye on the servers until such time that all servers will receive the update.

"This is the first release to contain CTE-tested 'Netcode' fixes and improvements. We are still hard at work with additional improvements and tweaks to better our network experience that did not make this release," said DICE.
