New ‘Crackdown 3’ concept art shows early character design, environment, weapons and more
New snippets of the concept art for “Crackdown 3” have been released last week and the concept art collection shows beautiful environments, armor suits and weaponry. The developer, Reagent Games, has also released holiday cards and two Agents that decorate a Christmas tree. One of them even looks like Santa!
The developer took to Twitter to officially announce the details of these new features coming for “Crackdown 3”. The official website also received a new post update in which the developer wishes happy holidays. Along with the wishes, new elements for the game were also revealed that include environment, new weapons and few of the close up concept art for armors.
The developer has released the update in a very creative way. The latest concept art is not just any other simple marketing trick for the holidays. The post published by the developer asks the visitors to click each Orb on the Christmas tree. Each Orb reveals a different content when clicked. The content includes sneak peeks into different environments of the game.
“Crackdown 3” is scheduled for release sometime in 2016. The game was officially announced at the E3, 2014. IGN reported that the Reagent Games have confirmed that the game will be available with campaign and multiplayer modes. It is expected that the multiplayer portion will be out in the second or third quarter of 2016.
“Crackdown 3” uses the cloud and allows its players to have complete destruction in online mode. As it will work with the cloud, the single player (campaign mode) will feature limited destruction. A few months back, the developer discussed the game’s Agility Orbs, at Gamescom. Game Informer reported that the “Crackdown 3” brings makes Agility Orbs static. Agility Orbs have a great impact on a player’s progress. In “Crackdown 2,” the Agility Orbs were mobile.
