Players of "Destiny" who have spent hours on end trying to level up their Guardians may find that they have hit a wall in trying to upgrade all of those gears. And it seems that this is not the fault of your or your Guardian's skills, but rather a bug that glitches the leveling up procedure in the title.

A bugged item in the game may be stopping your progress, and according to Got Game, it may be related to an item that is required for upgrading a legendary armour. The source states that this is the Ascendant Motes, and the glitch only hinders the character leveling up of those who bought their armour in the Future War Cult faction. When upgrading Legendary and Exotic gears in "Destiny," you need Ascendant Shards, which are said to be obtained in events, missions, Crucible match completions and even in dismantling other exotic armour.

But the glitch, according to the report, will require Motes instead of Shards which are actually non-existent materials in the world of "Destiny." Fans have already confirmed that this is a bug, and one that requires immediate fixing by the developers because a lot have been affected and could not progress.

As a note of caution to other "Destiny" players who have yet to upgrade their Guardians to higher levels, better avoid the Future War Cult vendor when buying armour to avoid getting the bug and stopping your level-up until the next batch arrives.

New Secret Area To Check Out

After the discovery of the Treasure Cave for "Destiny," another fan has spotted an area, which does not have a single NPC or enemy inside. But more than the absence of enemies, there's an Easter Egg of sorts for those "Halo" fans.

Pixel Dynamo reports that the secret area has a rock formation like the Arbiter, similar to the previously reported building that looked a lot like Master Chief's helmet. Speculations are now running that this area may be laid out for an expansion pack in the future. Check out the exploration video of the area below.

Update Patch From 'Destiny' Dev Bungie

Bungie has recently released a patch for "Destiny" that will reduce the difficulty for some of the activities in the game. Announced via the "Destiny" official blog, the developer has listed down some of the updated areas of the title.

Three missions have been reduced in difficult, and the developer did it by removing majors from Heroic tiers. The missions with reduced difficulty are Shrine of Oryx, Sword of Crota and Exclusion Zone.

Two updates have been done for the raids. The first is that when you drop the relic at the end of the raid, you and your team no longer have to worry about dealing with a black screen, which usually happens with a team wipe. Bungie also promised a future patch that will address the fact that your guardian remains dead when the mission ends.
