PS4 players who have yet to subscribe to the PS Plus will be given a chance to experience the service firsthand during the free-for-all weekend that Sony is giving its fans. From Sept. 26, Friday, at 8:00 a.m. to Sept. 29, Monday, at 9:00 a.m., both U.K. times, PS4 players can take part in the online multiplayer for free.

Eurogamer has spotted the announcement. This coincides with the release of new titles including "Destiny," "FIFA 15" and "Diablo III" to allow PS4 players to experience the difference in online multiplayer gaming.

PlayStation TV Debuting This October

It has been a while since the PlayStation TV was heard about. Sony has been hard at work behind the scenes in filling the service with more features, and this time, it is debuting this October with a lot of things to offer fans.

First, it will feature almost 700 games all for U.S. and Canada players to access on day one via the PlayStation TV. On the actual launch date, which is Oct. 14, the PlayStation TV will be sold at either $99.99 as a standalone system or $139.99 with a bundled wireless DualShock 3, 8GB memory card and a copy of The Lego Movie videogame. There's even another bundle at Walmart that features the latter bundle with the addition of a "Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time" copy for $139.99.

The PlayStation TV allows for playable content on the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. As a bonus to PS4 players, Remote Play also applies to the PlayStation Now, which allows them to play the game from the console to the PlayStation TV via the Internet.

For now, Sony has released a list of games that will be coming to the PlayStation Plus. The following list can be found on PlayStation Blog:

- Rayman Origins

- Persona 4 Golden

- God of War Collection

- Killzone: Mercenary

- FINAL FANTASY X / X-2 HD Remaster

- Dragon's Crown

Bugs Fixed For Current Xbox One Update

Microsoft has a pool of participants who regularly take part in previewing the latest updates for the Xbox One before everyone else gets a look at it. In the latest October update preview, a bug that could remove the games in the console was found.

Winbeta reports that the 1900MB update previously carried a bug that could reformat the drive and factory-reset the Xbox One. However, an update bug fix has already been released, which is good news for players. This is one of the advantages of early previews and testing of updates; hopefully, there were not a lot of participants in the Xbox One October System update affected by the unforeseen bug.
