A new Google Nexus 5 concept emerged this week showing a smartphone designed by Sony with amazing features.

The latest Google Nexus 5 concept is courtesy of Ben Ling who has made impressive Sony Xperia concepts in the past. Now, he visualized a Nexus smartphone made by the Japanese company.

His latest concept showed off a 4.6 inches Full HD Triluminos screen display protected with strong Gorilla Glass 3. The handset is powered by a quad core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs with Android 4.3 version of Jelly Bean OS. It supports 4G/LTE connectivity and HD voice. It has 3050 mAh battery capacity.

The greatest asset of the smartphone is its 20.7 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and HDR.

The Sony Nexus smartphone will come with a quite affordable price tag of $349 for the 16GB version or $399 for the 32GB version.

Sony is one of the mobile companies speculated to manufacture the next Nexus smartphone. LG, Motorola, and Asus are also some of the companies rumoured to aid search engine giant Google in making the Nexus 5.

Last week, an insider confirmed that Google Nexus 5 will happen later this year and Motorola is working on the device.

Insider Taylor Wimberly said that Motorla is currently working on the Google Nexus 5 release date. In his Google+ account, he confirmed that Motorola is working on a Nexus smartphone. The post does not include many details but it is enough to make waiting consumers excited.

"Motorola will release a Nexus smartphone in Q4 (that is not the Moto X)," he posted on his account. Wimberly gained a good reputation after his predictions for the upcoming Moto X proved to be accurate.

However, Google has not confirmed yet which company it will partner with in making the Google Nexus 5.
