Rockstar Games revealed a new trailer for the upcoming “Grand Theft Auto V” update, which showcases the new Lowrider vehicles that will be making their way into the game’s online mode. Also part of the downloadable content (DLC) is the new autobody shop called “Benny’s Original Motor Works,” where players will be able to customise and accessorise their cars.

Players will now be able to deck out their cars with hydraulics, special sound systems, new rims and more. Fans can see all of these in the minute-long video below.

Other noticeable contents in the update, as reported by GameSpot, are new weapons, the ability to purchase a fourth property and new missions from the popular “GTA V” character, Lamar. This means players who are not interested in designing car parts still have a variety of things to do in “Grand Theft Auto Online.”

Like most of the online updates of the game, the “Lowriders DLC” will be coming to the game for free. Rockstar Games has been able to make a lot of money through the title’s microtransactions in the online mode, which is probably why the updates are free.

Oddly enough, while the “Heists” update was available for the PS3 and Xbox 360, the “Lowriders” DLC will only be coming to PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC, according to iDigital Times. This might upset last-gen users who still play “GTA Online,” but the fact that the PS3 and Xbox 360 were still able to get the “Heists” update was considered miraculous.

With the possibility of Rockstar Games only making content for current-gen consoles and computers, it will be interesting to see the next DLC for the game’s online mode. The “Lowriders” update is rumoured to be bigger than that of “Heists,” making the possibilities for future DLCs endless.

Fans will be able to get the free “Lowriders” update for “Grand Theft Auto Online” today for the PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC, as long as they have a copy of “GTA V.” The game is considered to be one of the best titles for last-gen and current-gen consoles, selling over 54 million copies back in September 2013.
