New HTC One 2 Concept Image To Battle Samsung Galaxy S5, iPhone 6 Rumored Specs And Features
Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6 may have met their match as the new concept image of the rumored HTC One 2 boasts incredible specs and features.
HTC One 2, codenamed HTC M8, was given a boost by Designer Christof Gruber. HTC M8 concept packs a 9 mm thick casing and a 4.95-inch 2K display. HTC One 2 will be powered by a quad core Snadpragon 800 CPU. The handset will run with the latest Android 4.4.1 Kitkat OS with HTC Sense 6.0.
Other features include 4 GB of DDR3 RAM inside, 32 GB of storage and a 6 ultrapixel rear camera and 2.9 MP front camera. The handset will also pack HTC Zoe 2, GPS, Glonass, WiFi and BoomSound under the hood. The device will pack a 3200 mAh battery life that explains the bulkiness of the handset.
If the concept image proved to be true, it will battle head on with Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6. These devices are expected for release early next year although the confirmed date is still unconfirmed. However, the two handsets will pack great specs and features.
iPhone 6 is reported to pack a larger screen display with a size between 4.8 inches to 6 inches. Many analysts agreed that it is time for Apple to increase the screen size of its flagship phone. The next iPhone may retain some of iPhone 5S' features such as the 64-bit A7 processor, M7 graphics chip and the fingerprint sensor. However, new patents showed that iPhone 6 may include curved screen display and refocusable light camera.
Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumored to pack a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and 560 ppi, 14nm 64-bit Exynos processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, 16 MP camera, a separate Adreno 330 GPU and a long battery life. It is still unconfirmed whether Samsung Galaxy S5 will run with Android 4.4 Kitkat OS or will pack Tizen OS and Firefox OS.
These two devices are hurdles that HTC must hump over to attract consumers and win a place in the market.
