The Gmail team at Google is working on a new app called “Inbox,” which will easily help its users in managing their messages that they receive in a day seamlessly. Essential information like upcoming events, flight details, photos and documents and so on that are present in your messages will be highlighted by the Inbox app.

The Inbox app by Gmail is currently available to the users on invitation basis only. Google has already sent out two batches of invitation. Another report from PhoneArena states that after using the Inbox app for a day, they feel that the app is quite good and is free from any bugs or problems of any kind.

The Google Inbox app is smart enough to provide you with real-time information. It can provide you with real-time details of a flight or a travel package that you have been waiting for. The reminder feature can be used to remember important things like buying groceries or making a phone call.

There is a feature called Assists that will give you relevant information for any task. For instance, if you wish to place an order for a cake, the Inbox app will not only provide you with contact details of the cake shops but also provide you with details on their timings. When you make a restaurant booking online, the app will provide you details like map directions through email.

The Google Inbox app by Gmail again shows its smartness by enabling users to snooze particular emails. By setting a time period or location details, users can set the app to receive emails according to their set preference.

If you want to receive an invitation, you can simply send an email to inbox@google.com and the invitation will be sent to you as soon as it becomes available. To know more on its features, you can visit the official Gmail Blog. Here is a video that will let you understand the Inbox app features.

If you have received an invitation for the Inbox app, please do share with us your experience of using the new Inbox app.
