Renders of the rumoured Apple phablet, the iPhone 6, are becoming more realistic as we approach the device's supposed release date on first quarter of 2014.

The new concept coming from ADR-Studio and published this week by Gotta Be Mobile obviously takes a page from the design principle employed by Apple with the iPhone 5, which analysts said is the same template that will be showcased for the upcoming iPhone 5S.

The ADR-Studio take, the GBM report said, "offers a stunning look for the iPhone 6 that keeps the chamfered edge of the iPhone 5, but pairs it with a larger 4.3-inch edge-to-edge display that doesn't appear to increase the overall size of the iPhone.'

Essentially, consumers will get a slightly upsized iPhone 5S in the form-factor department but the specs are definitely big upgrades from the 2013 build.

Pegged for a global rollout anytime between the months of January and March next year, this iPhone 6 relies on the Jony Ive-redesigned iOS 7 for most of its killer features, which will draw its might from an A7 processing chip - expected to spin away on task with quad-core speed.

The shooting prowess of this render is nothing short of impressive as the main cam boasts of an 18MP sensor, matching with the new Cam app upgrades that iOS 7 will deliver this fall. It will have features similar to that of Instagram, ensuring that users will get to edit their photos to preferences prior to sharing with the world.

Another notable revision is made on the iconic Home key, which ADR-Studio designers have transformed into a capacitive button, giving it more durability and a new look with the Apple insignia sitting on top of the button.

As reported by MacRumors last week, the same control key will be protected by a sapphire coating to delay the onset of wear and tear, acting as an active defender too against dents and scratches.

The same mechanism will also deliver the rumoured fingerprint scanner, embedded with the Home key for added device security.

Retina display panel is also a major part of the whole iPhone 6 package, promising that this handset will deliver an immersive mobile screen experience through a flood of around 1.5 million pixels.

As mentioned above this iPhone 6 concept is one of the more realistic to emerge this year, thereby providing the strongest clue on how this Apple phablet will look and behave on its purported release date next year.
