The iPhone 5S that we'll get to seen on its purported June release date is a radical redesign, new prototype images of the upcoming iOS 7 smartphone suggest.

Easily noticeable on the pictures first published by GSMArena is the new build that the Apple handset will introduce - a curved profile tapering off to the edge that follows an earlier patent showing off the new smartphone.

The leaked prototype departs from the template that consumers have seen beginning in iPhone 4 and is generally sustained by Apple in iPhone 5 - a squared brick that is curved on four corners.

No specs have been provided but the capabilities should take page from speculations that the new iPhone 5S is an A7 computing little machine that will highlight the new device features that Apple will deploy via the iOS 7.

It will have stronger security via the new fingerprint sensor and improved camera features both in the hardware and software department.

Expert, however, tend to believe that no major revamps should be expected from the iPhone 5S, as is the case each time Apple refreshes its top-selling device to the S phase.

But if Apple would end up adopting the leaked iPhone 5S prototype, then consumers will be getting a fresh deal, totally different from at least the past few generations that the tech giant had served.

Some Apple watchers, however, doubt that the design suggested will make on the final design of the iPhone 5S, which many reports said is all set6 for a June 20 launch and an early July release date.

If anything, the final iPhone 5S blueprint should have been approved by this time and production of the handset should begin in full swing shortly, that is Foxconn workers are not yet busy putting together the new smartphone.

Come the iPhone 5S release date, Apple is also expected to issue the phone's low-cost edition, which is the tech titan's way of expanding its market reach and encroaching on the territories normally dominated by Samsung and Nokia.

The budget iPhone will sell a little over $US300, likely opening up more revenue opportunities for Apple in emerging markets like China and India.
