New iPhone 6 Concept Image Boasts Slim, Liquidmetal Body
The new iPhone 6 concept image packed a slim, liquidmetal body.
The unofficial render of iPhone 6 was made by Techradar. The smartphone used the rumoured liquidmetal material for the body. The handset imagined a very slim body of 5.5 mm thickness.
This render could be Apple's response to Samsung Galaxy S5. The handset's back was more rounded edges and pill-shaped buttons compared to other iPhones. The handset also packed a bezel-free, Full HD screen display to meet the 4.7-inch screen size.
According to Concept Phones, the iPhone 6 concept image used a sapphire screen display with self-healing coat that eliminated all of the imperfections of the device. The handset also has no Home button and the TouchID fingerprint sensor was embedded on the screen. The device has 13 megapixel camera at the back with ring flash.
According to grapevine, consumers can expect two iPhones to arrive this year and both models will boast a bigger screen display. One of the iPhone variants with 5.6-inch screen panel was speculated to enter the phablet category and will battle head on with Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Other speculated features of the iPhone 6 are faster and better A8 processor, and the upcoming iOS 8. Moreover, the iPhone 5S' TouchID fingerprint sensor will surely receive new features and improvements.
iPhone 6 release date was speculated to happen in September later this year following last year's launch of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. However, other reports claimed that iPhone 6 will arrive in June at the company's annual Worldwide Developers' Conference alongside iOS 8.
Although the Cupertino-based company has not released an official release date for iPhone 6, the handset may be launched soon as Apple shortened its return policy from 30 to just 14 days. The return policy allowed consumers to return their iPhones within the specified time period if they found defects on the handset. The revised return policy is now aligned to the return policies of Mac, iPod and iPad ranges.
