New iPhone 6 Concept Image Gets 5-Inch Curved Display in a Very Thin Body [VIDEO]
The latest iPhone 6 concept image boasts a 5-inch curved display packed in a very slim built.
Lewi Hussey imagined the design of the upcoming iPhone 6 probably with LG G Flex in mind as the handset shows off a 7 degree curved screen. Its body thickness measures half a centimetre.
The render packs a 5-inch edge-to-edge curved OLED Retina display, 12 megapixel iSight camera for photo/video capture. It also has a more powerful CPU than its predecessor and a 2 times faster GPU. There are NFC sensor and Bluetooth 4.1 on board.
It has been long rumoured that the iPhone 6 will pack a curved screen display. However, this could mean that Apple will be working with either Samsung or LG, which are the companies who developed curved displays.
According to the ongoing rumours, the iPhone 6 will sport a larger screen size ranging between 4.8 to 6 inchesto enter the phablet category. It will also pack the 64-bit A7 processor, M7 graphics chip and the fingerprint sensor that are first seen in iPhone 5S. Although Apple has not confirmed any rumours yet.
Moreover, latest Apple patents hinted on some iPhone 6 features such as a curved, flexible screen display with Liquidmetal as well as refocusable light camera. Another patent recently awarded to Apple suggested that the handset will pack an improved Siri and can be used in searching and tagging photos.
As for the release date, iPhone 6 is expected to arrive either in March or September. Many think that these are the perfect times for Apple to release a new flagship phone. However, iPhone 6 release date is now muddled by different speculations coming from different sources. Thus, consumers will be informed of the launch unless Apple confirmed that a smartphone is coming.
