A new iPhone 6 concept image emerged showing off a phablet design with 5.7-inch 2K screen display and iOS 8.

The latest render is designed by Dani Yako and imagined the upcoming iPhone 6 to have a 5.7-inch screen. This coincides with the latest reports claiming that an iPhone with 5.7 inches or bigger screen display will come this year. 2K pixel resolution is squeezed in the handset. The render sports the classic metallic chassis and the smartphone measures 7.2 mm in thickness, while weighing 130 g.

The handset runs with iOS 8 on board. The next version of iOS will most likely arrive in June at the annual Worldwide Developers' Conference. The phablet will have great processing power as it will pack A8 64-bit quad-core processor that is clocked at 2.5 GHz, which is paired with 4 GB of RAM. If the device was real, it could store files and data with its up to 128 GB storage capacity.

The render dreams a 22-MP rear camera with LED flash and digital image stabilisation and 8-MP front shooter that is also capable of Full HD video recording at 30 fps. These features seem impossible for Apple, as rumours emerged that the company will retain its 8 MP back camera but will improve optical imaging stabilisation.

Previous reports claimed that two iPhones will arrive this year. Allegedly, a new iPhone line will be launched in May with an iPhone phablet. According to reports, the phablet will boast a 5.7-inch or bigger screen display but will retain iPhone 5S 64-bit A7 processor.

The successor of the iPhone 5S, on the other hand, will be released in iPhone's usual calendar window in September. The smartphone will get upgraded specs such as 4.7-inch screen display and more powerful A8 CPU. However, Apple has not confirmed this rumour yet and should be treated with a grain of salt.

Other features that the iPhone 6 is expected to come with are curved or flexible screen with liquid metal and sapphire glass covering, an improved Siri as well as gestures control. The TouchID fingerprint sensor will also get a facelift, as it will add more features and capabilities.
