New iPhone 6 Concept Image Packs 5-Inch Screen And iTouch Gestures
A new iPhone 6 concept image that has emerged online features a 5-inch screen display and iTouch gestures.
Such latest render was designed by Fabrizio Bianchi of Rome, Italy. The handset boasts an edge-to-edge screen display. Bianchi ditched the home button and replaced it with Apple logo where you can use touch gestures in control.
The concept image has no physical buttons and users need to tap. The device packs the same aluminum body. The device also has side speakers - a pair at the bottom and one at the top. Based from the icons, the handset is running with iOS 7.
iTouch gestures are used in this handset. According to the creator of the concept image, you need to tap for home, hold for Siri and double tap to multitask. You can swipe to control volume, tap left to lock and hold left to turn off. Also, you can tap, hold and double tap right for multiple functions.
According to rumors, iPhone 6 will sport a larger screen display with size ranging from 4.8 to 6 inches. The smartphone will probably retain some of iPhone 5S' features like 64-bit A7 processor, M7 graphics chip and the fingerprint sensor.
Moreover, other Apple patents hinted that iPhone 6 may include a curved screen display and a refocusable light camera although Apple has not confirmed any of these reports.
iPhone 6 release is not yet confirmed but previous rumors pointed to an earlier release date in the first quarter of 2014, most probably around March. However, other speculations started to emerge saying that the next iPhone will be released later next year around October. Some analysts think that iPhone 6 will be introduced to the public in June or July 2014.
