Aside from @evleaks, Nokia sources have also confirmed to The Verge that this is true and that new tablet will be equipped with a Qualcomm processor and Windows RT 8.1 operating system. Nokia's first tablet, the Lumia 2520, also runs on Windows RT 8.1 but it has a bigger 10.1-inch 1920 x 1080 display and a 2.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor.

That's why despite the deal, Microsoft is also expected to launch a 7.5-inch Surface "mini" in early 2014.

The new Nokia 8-inch Illusionist Tablet will join the current Nokia Lumia product lineup, which consists of several models of mobile phones. These include the Lumia 1020, Lumia 625, Lumia 925, Lumia 720, Lumia 520, Lumia 620, Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 mobile phones.
