It's still early morning right now in Vatican City and still a few hours left to the start of the papal conclave to elect the 266th pope. The 1.2 billion-strong Roman Catholics around the world have been holding their breath since Feb. 28 when the resignation of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI took effect. However, it seems unlikely that a new pope will emerge by 8pm tonight at the Vatican City.

As of this minute, the 115 cardinal electors are holed up in their respective rooms in the Vatican Hotel, either still sleeping or praying or mulling the criteria they have set for a fellow comrade who will become his new pope.

Media has speculated on who could become the new pope. Even punters and bettors have their own.

So what exactly will make for a new pope?

Perhaps this spoof job advertisement that has been posted on LinkedIn listing infallibility, celibacy and strong problem solving skills as among major requirements to become the Roman Catholics' spiritual leader in these technology-driven times can help.

It warned contenders the job demands 24/7 focus and attention. Frequent travelling is a must.
