The Concept Phones Facebook Page published a Samsung Galaxy S5 concept courtesy of Rahul Sharma. The concept boasted a wrap-around YOUM screen display. The concept sports a 5.3-inch flexible, OLED screen.
According to the description, the smartphone runs with Android 4.4 KitKat and has 16 megapixel back camera.
The new concept is quite similar to the previous iPhone 6 concepts that showed off "infinite" screen display.
Myriad of rumours on the alleged specs and features of the next Galaxy S smartphone are already spreading online.
Rumours claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will feature a larger screen display using Sharp's new IGZO screen technology. It will also boast a 4K resolution that will enable users to play videos and movies that have resolutions that are beyond Full HD.
The Galaxy S5 will be powered by the faster 64-bit processor like the recently released iPhone 5S.
Reports claimed that Samsung Galaxy S5 will run with Samsung's Tizen OS as the South Korean teach giant will start building its own operating system like Apple's iOS and will lessen its dependency on Google's Android operating system. Other reports stated that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will run with Android 4.4 KitKat that is set to debut in October.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 release date will most probably be March next year just like the launch of Galaxy S4 last year. It is speculated that Samsung and Apple will engage in another clash of new smartphone releases early next year.
Apple is expected to release the iPhone 6 in March that will battle head on with the Samsung Galaxy S4's successor.
