The new Samsung Galaxy S5 concept image imagined the smartphone to pack 5.2 inches screen display with 2K screen resolution.

According to Concept-Phones, Moveplayer created the latest render of Samsung Galaxy S5 that seemed a fusion of Galaxy S4 and S2. It visualized the design of the handset with cut back on the curves since the previous smartphones have rounded edges. However, the device will not resemble the Galaxy S2, which is rectangular in shape. The smartphone is expected to be slimmer than the predecessor and waterproof.

Aside from more than 5 inches screen display, the smartphone will have ultra-slim bezels as well as faux leather texture at the back. The smartphone retained its physical Home button. Galaxy S5 will include a fingerprint scanner, which will be integrated on the entire screen display. Therefore, users can easily access the fingerprint sensor features by tapping anywhere on the screen.

Samsung Galaxy S5 launch event entitled UNPACKED 5 will happen on Feb. 24 as invitations to the members of the press were sent out early this month. The device will be available in March or April.

Recently, two Samsung Galaxy S5 were spotted in AnTuTu benchmarks that sparked rumours that two models of the handset were on their way. According to the leaked benchmarks, one model is a premium variant with the code SM-G900R4 and will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AC 2.5GHz quadcore processor in the benchmarks, coupled with 3GB RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, 32GB onboard storage, a 2,560×1,400 QHD display, 16 megapixel rear camera, 2.1 megapixel front camera as well as Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The other model with the code SM-G900H will pack a Samsung Exynos 5422 octacore 1.5GHz processor with 2GB RAM, ARM Mali-T628 GPU, 16GB internal storage, 1,920×1,080 pixel resolution display, 16 megapixel rear and 2.1 megapixel front camera, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.

However, Samsung has not disclosed the official specs and features of Samsung Galaxy S5. But the device is arriving later this month. Thus, the aforementioned features must be taken with a pinch of salt.
